The views from the Room were fantastic, overlooking the blue waters. The room was comfortable, bathroom with tub was good and the Balcony to sit in and soak in the views. The Staff was particularly helpful with Parking, arranging a photographer, etc. The breakfast has good spread with very attentive staff. Good conversations as well.

Everything about this booking was perfect. Very easy check-in, perfect secluded location with a private hot tub and a beautiful view. Some reviews mentioned that there aren’t many food options nearby, I disagree. There were a handful of very highly rated restaurants in walking distance and the one I tried (Olio) was fantastic! The host was great, very very helpful! Even the breakfast was really good! Can’t wait to come back and stay at this rental again!

Location was amazing, very close to a small traditional town with restaurants and shops. The set-up for the family was great. The jacuzzi was a very nice addition. Beds were very very comfortable. Parking was very useful. The check in was smooth, and they cleaned the room every day with fresh towels and linen. We loved everything about it. Thank you !

The breakfast is something to look forward to every morning. Absolutely delicious. The views are to die for. Super clean in and out and the staff are exceptional.

You would definitely need a car here to be able to visit Oia and Fira easily. Also Kamari was actually our favourite place, had a lovely beach, shops and restaurants.
Megalokhori itself is very small village, it’s worth a little stroll down to. Also lovely homemade lemonade served in the little bar there.

Loved Megalochori: little beautiful village with its colorful houses, churches and little back alley streets. It was as if I was walking in a big painting or Theatre set. Met many friendly people; visited cozy restaurants and enjoyed tasty meals. Hope to visit many more times in future!

The property is absolutely immaculate!!
The property is absolutely immaculate!! Romantic & Relaxaing!!
Complimentary breakfast was excellent, too!!
Public Transportation not easily accessable - eventhough the bus stop is only a 3 minutes walk. The sidewalk isn't user friendly - very Narrow & lots of outgrown weeds. You can take a bus to Fira from that bus stop - just do it in the morning - at night that area isn't walkable - from Megalochori to Fira is only 1,60 euros. However, from Fira took Uber back to hotel is about 36 Euros! After you arrived Fira bus station, you can take another bus to Oia for another 1,60 euros.
We shouldn't have booked a split level room because there's a steep stairs to climb up to your bed :(

Megalochori is just a small village 5 kms south of the city centre Fira. It is less touristic and will suit people seeking for accommodation that is not so busy and hectic. It has some good restaurants and even a winery that sells fantastic red and rosè wine.

The village is very traditional and much less touristy than the other towns. There is a good selection of restaurants (7/8 maybe) and all of them are lovely, only 1 or 2 serve breakfast though. There are some lovely vineyards in the village too, some cooking classes and horse riding excursions. It's a small village so not huge amounts to do so more of a relaxing base from which to explore the Island. There was a small shop although the opening times were sporadic so we stocked up at the larger supermarkets just out of the village.
We hired a car to get around and there is free parking in the village, the island is very small so it only takes 40 minutes to get to the other side, I think the local busses call through too although we didn't use these.
We went with our 2-year-old who loved the local playground, although there were a lot of cobbles (as with all the villages) which made the buggy difficult.

This town was a great location on the island.
This town was a great location on the island. Not to close to the over touristed towns but easy access to them. The Town has everything you need, good restaurants, wineries and the best bakery in the island.
The accommodation was lovely and in an excellent location being right in the centre of Megalochori which is a beautiful little village in Santorini. The terrace was a great place for sunbathing and the hot-tub was great in the evenings when it became a little cooler (we were here at the beginning of May). The village has a few restaurants which are great and a lovely wine bar called Symposium. It's also only a short trip away from the capital Fira which takes approximately 10 minutes by bus.
really like the location if you’re renting a car. Santorini at this time is quite closed up. Most of the town is closed. This part of the island is very quiet and peaceful. If that’s what you’re looking for it is a great location.
Great parking.
Wonderful views from the front
Close to a few supermarkets by driving
interesting little village nearby
20 to 30 minutes drive to famous scenic areas
personally I would not like to stay in those areas
too crowded and too expensive
Lovely, welcoming staff, always there to advise / help make our stay as pleasant as possible.
We were able to return to the hotel in the early afternoon, visit of the hotel and provision of documents to enjoy the best places of Santorini (not the most tourist but the most authentic :))
Everything is super clean, the location of the hotel ideal with a Caldera almost private 2 minutes by car (10 minutes on foot). MUCH better than in Oia!
I RECOMMEND! :)
Well managed BnB. Huge rooms, clean, excellent host.
Huge washrooms, and almost everything available.
Hot tubs work really well and the outdoor area is especially nice.
The hosts can arrange anything and everything you want. We are thankful and they are very nice. Andriana is sweet: She ordered pizzas for us in the middle of the night and had a wine and flowers ready for us.
Very close to the heart of Santorini or the rabbit. Family bakery is excellent too!
The breakfast was very fresh and was always on time. The staff was very helpful and extremally friendly with lots of knowledge and useful information of Santorini. The location is close to the 3 main things you want, the best beach, airport and the capital city Fira. So you can visit them all when you want, or stay in Alti and enjoy the peace and quiet :) shoutout to Mr Konstantinos who was a pleasure to meet and helped us with everything we needed.
Fantastic house in the middle of charming Megalochori. Spacious and with two big terraces. A major plus is that unlike much other accommodation on Santorini, this actually a traditional house, not purpose-built for tourists, which gives it additional charm. The host is very welcoming and helpful, full of tips about the island. Considering the prices on the island, this place is good value for money.
I loved everything about our stay. Staff was very friendly - they gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy our stay, very thoughtful. Breakfast was marvellous - eating by the pool with the sunrise was very nice - good selection of options.
The view is breathtaking. They also have a gym section with plenty of options- good location, close to the Heart of Santorini - amazing sunsets and sunrise.
Elements Suites are beautifully decorated. Its more like a villa, mine was Water, a 2 storey Villa with a bedroom upstairs and 2 singles downstairs.
Kitchen was nice with a Nespreso machine and kettle.
Separate Lounge had a smart TV.
Nice quiet area of Santorini short 5 min walk to bus stop and a great bakery not too far as well at the same spot as the bus stop.
The view was absolutely outstanding, the best place for a Santorinian sunset! George our host was delightful and always greeted us with a smile. He was very helpful with anything we needed (dinner recommendations, transport etc.). The breakfast every morning was very yummy and satisfying. Very central to everything, will most likely need a car!
The rooms were very clean and we had a pleasant stay at the Villa. The breakfast was great. The hosts Andra and Marios were very welcoming and the hospitable was commendable.
The sunset view was amazing. If you are on a vacation in Santorini to capture the sunset view, then I definitely recommend this Villa instead of the overly crowded Oia.
HOT WATER AND NO FLIES! Prior to staying here we rented a private residence and hot water was an issue because of a lack of it and flies were an issue. Now flies are common in September but this hotel for some reason had no issue with flies. Also the view from the hotel is beautiful and there is a restaurant on the property
The Villa is an architectural gem, inside and out. Everything from decoration, landscaping to linens is 1st class all the way. The property overlooks the most beautiful view of the caldera and the sunsets are incredible. I highly recommend this property to make your trip to Santorini one to remember!
Beautiful view over the caldera, especially at sunset! Very friendly and helpful staff - let us leave our bags after checkout until our ferry left. Has parking outside. Nice breakfast spread delivered to the suite. Very romantic setting and good value for Santorini.
Our private pool room was amazing, so quiet and relaxing! The view was breathtaking! The staff was beyond amazing, helping us with anything we needed and being so friendly and kind! The hotel location was in a great spot a quiet town not far from the bigger towns.
Wonderful views, massive pool great amenities available, remote location, great AC but still close to city centers across the island!
Service was unbelievable, like better than any 5 star hotel I’ve ever been to in the U.S.

Well, as well as he gave me a wonderful greeting and welcoming to Santorini with great breakfast

Great hotel with a good view of the ocean.
Super helpful staff and very welcoming.
